DESCRIPTION:CHAUTAUQUA IN THE PARK\n\nSimpson Park in Chillicothe\, MO\n\n\n\nSponsored by Hedrick Medical Center\n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 9th from 9am-6pm\n\nSunday\, September 10th from 10am-4pm\n\n\n\nIn its 38th year\, Chautauqua in the Park\, sponsored by Hedrick Medical Center & presented by the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce\, is a juried arts and crafts festival in which all participants are required to apply through an approval process to ensure the quality and handmade nature of booths.  This two-day extravaganza also includes a Traditional Arts area\, sponsored by Green Hills Communications\, showcasing over twenty artisans demonstrating their craft\, a boisterous Children's Area\, sponsored by HyVee\, filled with fun\, over a dozen food & drink options and live entertainment on the main stage\, sponsored by Complete Family Medicine\, for attendees to enjoy.  Chautauqua draws in over 110 vendors and more than 13\,000 patrons each year and provides two days of fun & memories for all ages.
