In its 40th year, Chautauqua in the Park, sponsored by Hedrick Medical Center & presented by the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce, is a juried arts and crafts festival in which all participants are required to apply through an approval process to ensure the quality and handmade nature of booths.  This two-day extravaganza also includes a Traditional Arts area, sponsored by Milbank Mills, showcasing over twenty artisans demonstrating their craft, a boisterous Children's Area, sponsored by HyVee, filled with fun, over a dozen food & drink options and live entertainment on the main stage, sponsored by Foster Heating & Air Conditioning, for attendees to enjoy.  Also visit the Storytelling Area made possible by the Livingsston County Library & the Author's Corner sponsored by TOPPAN. Chautauqua draws in over 110 vendors and more than 18,000 patrons each year and provides two days of fun & memories for all ages. Chautauqua in the Park is an age-old community tradition and the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this beloved event.

Trolley service is available on Saturday with pick-up & drop-off locations at the north entrance of Southern Bank, Grand River Museum, Chillicothe Welcome Center & the Washington Street entrance to Simpson Park.
