This is a community-wide events calendar. All organizations are encouraged to submit the dates for their activities. We hope that it will help with planning to avoid date conflicts. All events must be submitted through this website -- choose "Submit An Event." The Chamber reserves the right to not allow an event to be placed on the calendar. Please refrain from submitting personal events such as garage sales, in-home parties, open houses, etc.

AYBF Dinner-AuctionName: AYBF Dinner-AuctionDate: August 26, 2017Time: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM CDTEvent Description:The Area Youth Benefit Fund, established by Farmers' Electric Cooperative in 1993, has distributed more than $711,000 to help 656 northern Missouri families pay medical bills for their children. It is supported by fundraising events (dinner/auction and golf tournament) held every August. Applications for assistance are reviewed by a three member AYBF Board of Directors. Eligible families live in the counties of Linn, Chariton, Livingston, Carroll, Ray, Caldwell, Daviess, Dekalb, or Clinton and have medical bills for a child/children 18 years of age or younger. The family does NOT have to be a Member of Farmers' Electric Cooperative in order to receive assistance.
