Service Technician

Fries Ag & Turf is actively searching for a Service Technician for an established equipment Dealership. Our mission is to provide the highest quality service with integrity and dedication to help meet the personal and professional needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, that's motivated and wants to start a new career or advance your opportunities in the Agricultural and Mechanical field.

Job duties include performing basic diagnostics and repairs on construction, agricultural, and turf equipment, and completing reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Candidates should be able to maintain proper condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment, as well as follow safety rules, and have the ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.

Pay up to $30 an hour depending on experience, plus benefits.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience performing service repairs.
• Valid driver’s license
• knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, preferably those used in the repair of construction, agricultural, and turf equipment.
• Computer and diagnostic system skills.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more repeatedly,
• Professional appearance
• Proficient oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diesel/Gas service technician certification
• Mechanical certification
• Professional references
